Tried to learn the number in Mandarin

Today Ethan woke up quite early from his nap. After he had his snacks, mummy brought him to his room to read some books. This time round Ethan picked the number books. Well, Ethan has no problem reading the English number but not for the Mandarin. During the reading suddenly he just spoken out the number in Mandarin by pointing the word "一，二" and so. Seeing that he has interest to learn mandarin so mummy took this opportunity to teach him the rest.

Conclusion after teaching him was that he knows how to tell you from 1 to 10 in Mandarin but if you randomly pick the number ask him, he doesn't know which pronunciation belongs to which number. He only memorizes the sequence of the sound. Seems like he needs to practice more.

Besides that mummy also went to take out those Mandarin flashcard that mummy made for him when he was small. Flashed some of the cards to him and found out that he had forgotten lot of words. He can only read the word for family like "爸爸 , 妈妈 and etc"
