End of monitoring and crib

Yesterday night Ethan fell down from the bed so we had to monitor him for 24 hours. Luckily nothing happen. He still having his fun whole day.

We plan to buy the single bed for Ethan as his seems like cannot fix into his crib. Ethan already slept in this crib since he was born. At first, some of mummy colleagues said that there is no need to buy the crib as the baby grows up very fast. They will reject the crib and that's why mummy bought big crib for Ethan which is about 48 inches in length. Remembered back that at one time Ethan rejected to sleep inside his crib when he was about 5 months old onwards. Ended up we have to made him sleep at parent's bed and when he had fallen asleep then we brought him down to his crib. At midnight when he woke up for milk then he will refuse again and that time we have no choice but to let him slept with us.

Mummy feel that this was not the solution as that time Ethan was starting to crawl and she was afraid that he will fall down while parent still sleeping. So mummy insisted that Ethan has to sleep inside his own crib. With luck, Ethan accept the fact later and stayed in his crib. But seeing that Ethan was growing up and the crib still left few space, mummy had to decide to remove the crib. Hope that this few weeks Ethan will have his new bed.
