Some hand practice...

Yesterday night Ethan observed his mummy using the scissor to cut the color paper for him and he requested to do so. Mummy rejected his request and told him will let him do it tomorrow.

Today managed to buy one plastic scissor for him and bring one box of postcard from Season's Club house. Both things were to train Ethan's hand coordination. Need to teach Ethan how to use the scissor to cut the paper and the poster card box was to teach him to tied the ribbon.

When teaching Ethan to use the scissor, mummy had to demonstrate it and really difficult to mummy as mummy is left handed. Mummy doesn't want Ethan to imitate mummy. Mummy had just corrected Ethan by using the right hand to scribbling. At first Ethan doesn't know how to use only one hand to open and close the scissor and his used both hand so mummy had to hold his another hand in order to prevent using another hand. He finally managed to open and close the scissor using one hand. He was really happy when he had done it especially when he managed to cut the paper using the scissor. Well ,the % is still not at 100% but what to expect, he is just a new learner and some more the scissor was plastic not like the adult scissor using the steel.

Taught him how to tied the ribbon but did not manage to do it by today. Maybe should consider to teach Ethan how to button and unbutton the clothes first instead of the ribbon. To tie up the ribbon maybe a bit too difficult for his age....
