Bargaining for Ethan clothes

We went to Xin XYang underground market. We managed to buy two jeans for Ethan after some amount of bargaining. In this market , you really need to bargain with the seller. At fist they asked for the price of RMB110 per Jean but mummy said too expensive and asking to reduce the price. Well, normally they will only lower down a bit the price. Mummy said willing to pay for RMB50 per jean. They seller said very hard for them to gain. Please don't be fooled by their tactic. We just walked away then they were willing go down. So after bargaining we bought two jeans at RMB110. We only manage to reduce half of the price. In here, really need to act and don't show eagerness on your face.

Yahoo! New Jeans

But mummy didn't manage to bargain for another 2 polo T-shirts and one long pants and one short pants. The seller wanted to sell at RMB180 but mummy only willing to pay RmB90. After bargaining they willing to drop to RMB120 but mummy insisted at RMB90 so the deal was off after they have another customer entered their shop. Well, mummy was not willing to pay RMB40 for Polo T-shirt for 2 reasons. First they are faked and second one mummy bought it before at Nihong Kid's Plaza at RMB25 per piece. So mummy wanted to drop the price to RMB20 per piece before considering to buy 2 T shirts. Actually, in here you can get the same clothes at different shops, most of them are selling roughly the same product. So if cannot get the good deal in this shop , you still can get it at another shop.

It was really tired after every bargain. Have seen some of the sellers even quarrelled with the customers. In China, you really need to be thick face and mummy heard that some of the seller have attitude problem. Some of them hold your hands and no letting you to walked out of the shop until the bargaining end. Viewing through the forum said that here because lots of tourists especially the white people frequented this place, so normally the price they asked will be very high and you need to slash the price to half or one third. Mummy still learning how to bargain as we seldom do this things in Malaysia.
