NanhuiZhui Sea-Sight Garden(南汇嘴观海公园)

Today mummy chose the 南汇嘴观海公园 after yesterday we saw so many people at the LuXun Park. Since this garden is still new, we hoped that there is not so many people visiting the garden so we can get to take good pictures. Before we arrived at the park, we need to go through a narrow road where both sides of the road is swarm land. Really scary and our driver said that it is like WWII war zone. This place is still under development. Predicted after few years, this place will be different and become another tourist spot in Shanghai.

The garden was small but modern. It has a big stone book that described this garden. We put Ethan on the big book and hoped that we can take his photo. Ethan, he didn't sit still and let us take the photo. He climbed up to the top of the book and tried to slide down. He treated the stone book like a slide. Mummy was worried that his pants will be torn as this is a new pants.

Besides this book, there were iron statues of two workers. The statues were to commemorate and appreciate the hard work of the workers who built this place. Ethan likes the statues, mostly because he can touch the statues and the equipment placed beside the statues.

The most standout attraction in the garden is the unique design of the massive steel structure. Guessed what it is ? It is the "Compass" called "司南". Stainless steel is used to build it. The meaning of this is "discovery, interaction and development" - 发现、交流和开放. The design is awesome and beautiful. From afar, we can already see this structure. Well, Ethan might not know the meaning, but for him the place was big enough for him to run around and got taken some nice picture.

We took our family photo in front of this unique design
There were medium size steel earth located in a certain part of this garden. Ethan was excited and mummy placed him and sat together with the earth.

Seeing that the buildings are still under construction behind where Ethan was standing below, if not mistaken it would be a future hotel. This large area or the square has a long pathway with circle stones placed at both sides of the path. Ethan was amazed by the stone and said that it was circle.

Another big book was located right in front of the 司南. Ethan once again climbed up the book and wanted to slide down. This book was not made of stone like the first one but was made of steel.

Seeing his parent taking the photo inside this 司南, he also want to take part

This garden displayed few items regarding to how they develop this place. Few materials were placed surrounding the garden to commemorate the workmanship and hard work in developing this place. Ethan stood in front of the stone block used to protect and block the sea wave from hitting the seafront.

Since this garden was located beside the sea, the sea wind is strong. You can observe that from our hair blown disorderly by the wind. We were afraid that Ethan will feel cold so we just added another winter coat for him. As he still has a little bit of cough.

Even though this garden is still considered new but there were already lot of people who knows about it. Seen that there was a group of teenager cycled to this place, guessed that maybe they are university students. Also seen a mini bus brought in some tourists to this place. There was even a foreign guy who took a taxi to this place. Overall, Ethan behaved himself in this garden not like yesterday when he was at Lu Xun park.
