Lu Xun Park 鲁迅公园

This week daddy had chosen one of the famous park in Shanghai i.e. 鲁迅公园. When we arrived at that park, we saw so many people and tourist buses stopped at the park. Too many people and definitely will be difficult for us to take good photos.

Immediately upon entrance to the park, there was an amusement park just beside the main gate. Ethan wanted to go there but daddy had to hold Ethan and lure him away. Telling him that we will go to other places first then we only come back later. Along the way, we saw lots of people, practicing dancing and singing. There was few China musical instrument band playing the song where you can join and sing together if you want to. We don't know what the song was.

First we went to the lake side where mummy wanted to feed Ethan his milk. Really difficult to find a bench surrounding the lake as they are all fully occupied. We share our seat on the bench with one of the uncle. Well, when that uncle saw us and he just left the bench. We quickly fed Ethan with milk as we knew that if we did not feed him, later he will throw tantrum. We sat there and see people rowing the boat. We also had our sandwich here.

After resting at the lake side, we went to the "Good Will Memorial Clock" where there were lot of people sitting surrounding the clock. Children were playing and running around the place. Ethan had met a kid with no manners. Why mummy said like that is because there was a steel picture place in the body of the clock and that kid was pointing at it. Ethan saw it, he also pointed to the picture then the kid pushed away Ethan's hand. He don't want to share the public property picture. Our son, he just continued to point. This round the kid pushed Ethan away and Ethan nearly fell down on the floor luckily mummy managed to catch him. If not guess you can imagine what will happen next. Well, Ethan was not the only victim of this kid, that kid even pulled other kids' clothes until the kid's mother kept on asking that kid to release her son's clothes. Only then did the kid's father appear and he didn't scold his kid or say sorry to that mother either. He just treat it as nothing happened. Seeing that the father is like that no wonder the kid also same kind lo...

In order to lure Ethan to walk away from the place, we had to ask Ethan to hop down the staircases and he felt happy doing it. He even wanted to hop all along the pathway. O my god. We have to ask him to stop hopping.

Before we arrived at the Lu Xun Memorial, we arrived at the old English style drinking fountain. Really old and dirty....

Finally we went into Lu Xun Memorial, we have to line up to get the tickets for the free entrance. When we entered the building, there was a guide who need to tear the ticket and he didn't tear Ethan's ticket. When we brought Ethan inside, Ethan insisted to walk back to let the guide tear his ticket. We need to pass through the metal detector. Mummy and Ethan had to drink the water from our bottle in front of the guide just like the airport. We didn't spend much time inside the building because Ethan was throwing tantrum and we have to finish the trip fast.
