Brought Ethan to the Century Park (世纪公园)

Today we took the shuttle bus to the subway station. The century park is just the opposite of the station. We arrived there at 9.00am and already seen lot of people line up to buy the ticket and enter the park. Crowded everywhere for those attraction because it was the National Holiday in China. The local likes to bring their family out during the holiday. We lined up to buy the ticket for Rmb10 per person and of course Ethan was free again.

First place inside our view was the large lawns with many naturalistic landscape and the wild growth. The different shape of stones placed beside the lake. Ethan liked to step on the stone. Inside the lake was full of unknown fishes. Recently for the celebration of the China National holiday, the park held the firework celebration at night. Need to buy tickets for viewing the firework. But we get to see free firework display as our apartment is located near the park and we can view it from our house. Besides that the musical fountain function was stop due to under construction.

Ethan likes to climb up the stone and stand on it

We stepped up the staircase and reached the "Outdoor auditorium". Ethan was very cheerful seeing the large space and lot of lined chairs placed. He loved to walk here and there. Don't know why he suddenly wanted to pose different pose for his parent to take his photo. We took the most of photo of Ethan in here.

Since it was the outdoor, there was no shade and the day was getting hotter. Mummy has to let Ethan wear his hat. He actively ran and walked down the slope road from the top down to the small stage located at the middle of the auditorium.

Seeing Ethan running from other side and meanwhile posed different pose for his parent to take his photo

Since there was no performance so the middle stage, the management allowed few stalls to sell food on the stage. They were selling fast foods like KFC and drink etc and placed few chairs and tables for people to sit there and view up the auditorium.

We have tried to find the "Century Flower Clock" inside the the park. After thoroughly searching through the map displayed inside the park, by right it should be the nearby the place we stood but we could not find it. Our thinking was that maybe the park management had took away the attraction and only have it during the spring time. We were a bit disappointed and walked out from the park from Gate 1. Before we left the park, mummy noticed that there was a huge wall nearby the entrance and told daddy that maybe the clock was facing outside instead of inside. Mummy was correct. The clock was located at the entrance of the park facing the "Century Square". We immediately took some photos with the clock.

The gate 1 was nearby the Science & Technology Museum and Century Square. We had taken some of the photos there. Ethan enjoyed playing the "slide". Actually not the playground slide. Only the construction that plant the flower has a slope design which Ethan treated it as his slide.

Ethan refused to walk away from his "slide". He slide down one level to another level then walked up the staircase and slide down again. We were stuck there for quite some time as Ethan kept on wanting to play his "slide".

From the photo see him enjoyed playing his "Slide"

Initial plan was seeing that we have already reached the "Century Square" and wanted to look around but we could not stand the hot sun. We quickly walked to the underground to have our lunch before we went back to our home. Next time we will visit the square alone since it was easy accessible by the subway.
