Christmas party in the school

It was a very busy morning for mummy as she needed to prepare food for Ethan to bring to his Christmas Party. Luckily daddy was on leave today so daddy could help out a bit to take care of Ethan while mummy was preparing the food. We just made it on time and mummy brought Ethan to school. When we arrived at the school, we seen some of the parents were already in the classroom. Most of the parents left their kids in the school and went back home to prepare the food. Today was not a school day for Ethan so mummy purposely brought Ethan to join the party. The party was a combination of both K2A and K2B students as some of the students were already on the holiday mood (went back to celebrate Christmas and New Year in their home country).

We? We chose to go back during the CNY since it is only a few weeks apart from the Christmas Holiday.

The class had distributed the Santa hat for all the parents and kids to wear. The party started at 10 something where all the parents and kids need to sit down to make a big circle on the floor. The party started with singing of the Christmas songs and telling Christmas story.

The teacher had read a Christmas story i.e." The night before Christmas"

The moment that everyone had been waiting for was the appearance of Santa Clause. One of the kids' parent have been dressed up as Santa Clause and distributed the gifts to the kids. There were a few kids who were afraid of Santa and immediately cried. Their mummy had to bring them out of the classroom. Luckily Ethan was not afraid and he was circling around the Santa. Santa called out the names of the kid and gave them a gift.

Can you spot Ethan?

Receiving the gift from Santa
Upon receiving the gift, some of the kids unwrapped their gifts on the spot. Ethan didn't do like that and mummy helped him to put it in mummy's backpack. After the gift exchange it was time for lunch.
Different taste of food were presented on the upper floor. Different style of food contributed by the parents with a mix of Western, Chinese and Japanese food. The most popular food of choice contributed by the parents were the sandwiches. Different flavor of sandwiches had been presented. Mummy fried Bee Hoon.
The party came to an end after everyone eaten their food. It was 12 something at noon. The classroom looked very messy and it was pity that the ayi need to do those clean up stuff. Most of parent opt to bring their kids home even though they are full day student. Only left few kids stayed back till 3.00pm.
Mummy let Ethan unwrapped the Christmas present at home. It was the "Under the Sea" pop up book. Ethan liked it so much as he can sing the Barney song "Under the Sea" while reading this book.
