Easter Party in the school

Today the school had the Easter Party. Lots of activities waiting for the kids. When parents drop their kids in the morning, parents need to bring along snacks for your kid to share with his classmates. This round mummy brought the egg roll for Ethan to bring to the school. Parents need to arrive at the school at 9.30am, the Easter party required family members to participate.

The first activity was the "Bunny Ears" decoration. The teacher had provided some material for the kids to decorate. At first, mummy thought let Ethan have fun and do it by himself. However after seeing the other parents helping their kids to do so and those material for decoration was almost finished by the other parents, mummy had to help Ethan take some of material for himself else his bunny ears will have nothing to decorate.

After having finished the "Bunny Ear" the parents need to measure the head of their kids so that they can let the teacher sampled it. See, this is Ethan's bunny ears. Finished with the decoration then it's time for coloring the Easter egg. The teacher had bought lots of duck eggs for the kids to color. The color was very dull so we could not really color the egg. Guessed the school doesn't want to mess up the place and also the kids clothes. Ethan had been spending lots of time coloring the egg and he refused to walk away.

Heard that the activities have yet to finish, the kids need to decorate the "Easter basket". So mummy need to grab Ethan to walk upstairs. By the time we arrived on the second floor, some of the kids had already finished their decoration. Ethan needed to found his own basket to decorate. Some of the material has almost finished by other, so mummy quickly grasped the left over feathers for Ethan.

After the basket, it was time to color the Easter Bunny. Ethan just colored two or three line then he told mummy he had finished. Ethan was not really good at coloring and he didn't have the concept that he need to color them whole. Not like his classmates who is also from Malaysia and just joined them in January. This little girl did colored the whole object, guessed this has been trained by Malaysian kindergarten. ( She had attended the whole year kindy in Malaysia before she arrived in Shanghai).

After finishing all the activities, now only wait for the Easter Egg Hunt in the garden. The activity like Easter Stories Time didn't work out as too many people so it was free activities while waiting. Ethan walked down to the underground floor to play the toy car and slide.

After a while, mummy brought him upstairs again as it was time for the outdoor activities. Some of kids and parents were already ready and waited at the playground behind the classroom. See how fun was Ethan. He put his basket on the backside of the car and drove along with him.

At last the teacher announced and described how to play the Easter Egg Hunt. The kids needed to find those red egg and decorated eggs. One kids will be given at least 2 eggs so for those who hunted more than that need to return back so it will be given to other kids to have the same too. Before Ethan went for the egg hunting, he had already gotten the two egg for himself as he was coloring the eggs just now.

The kids were eagerly wanted to hunt for the eggs in the garden as they kept on asking. At last, the guide opened the gate and let these little bunnies out for the egg hunt.

There was a surprise inside the red egg. Ethan cannot wait to have the sweets after opening the egg. Yup, he just finished all the sweets within a few minutes.

After the egg hunt, it was like the photo session for the parents and the kids. The parents all kept on taking their kids' photos.

The last activities was the group photo, all the parents had been placed with their kids together and parent kept busy taking the group photo. The part was the parent and the kids group photo. The photo have been taken by the teachers.

We ended all the activities at 11.00am. Overall, the kids had fun and same for the parents. Ethan refused to walk back home after the function and he still wanted to drive the toy car. At last nearly 11.30am mummy managed to persuade him to leave.
