Finger Painting

Wanted to let Ethan do the finger painting for quite some time but always short of one material i.e the flour. Year end we were busy with the traveling and today was the public holiday for China so took this opportunity to let him play with his little fingers.
Ready with all material and mummy mixed up the 3 colors for Ethan. Ethan didn't have finger painting experience before so he didn't know how to do it at first. We have to put the color on his small little hand and placed it on the paper. He grasped the idea and started to enjoy the activity.
After completed the finger painting, we gave him another one to color after washing his hand. But he seemed to like playing with the color instead. He likes to mix the color to form another color.
Seeing that he played till all the place were dirty, we wanted to clean it up but he refused to let us until his used up all the color in painting. We managed to clean up all the mess before our lunch time. The last painting really looked like "shit". The paper cannot withstand too much water in the color so mummy had thrown it away. Below were the masterpieces finger painted by Ethan and his parents.
