Visiting Shanghai Botanical Garden

Today we made a trip to the Shanghai Botanical Garden 上海植物园. We arrived at the destination at 11.00am, it was less than one hour from our residence. We bought the entrance ticket at RMB15 per person and Ethan was free. At first we wanted to cover all the indoor and outdoor display but the indoor green house was closed for renovation. Not many people at that time maybe because it was near lunch time.
At first Ethan was excited as he ran here and there. After we took some photos at the small garden near the entrance, we headed to the lotus pond. Lots of lotus in pond and also small fishes inside. Ethan had the experience of walking the stone bridges across the pond. Daddy complained that at one time Ethan just simply step without seeing and he nearly fell inside the pond. At first mummy still wanted to shot the photo of him in the middle of pond. Seems like we cannot just leave him alone.

Inside the garden, there were different type of mini gardens for viewing. We took a few of the photos in front of them.

The weather was hot today (no rain luckily) and Ethan face turned reddish very quickly.
After exploring, Ethan began to show tiredness as he kept on asking his parents to hold him around. We only stayed in the garden for about one hour as Ethan wanted to sleep.....On our way back home, Ethan fell asleep again in the car...The trip was short but we had a wonderful time.
