The Rape Seed Farm

Today we chose to visit the "Rape Seed Farm". The festival just started two days ago. This festival was another attraction for Shanghai and one can only view the beauty of the rape seed farm once a year i.e. the spring time. We have waited for this moment since last year and we definitely will not miss it. We headed towards the destination at 8 something in the morning. Gloomy sky and cool wind didn't stop people from visiting this place. The policeman had to take care of the traffic and directed the drivers to where they could park their cars.

Ethan's mood was just like the weather, "DOWN". He refused to take photo with the rape seed plant. He just walked here and there in the farm, so most of photos were taken by mummy showing the backside of Ethan. Along the road, we saw the local people selling the chicken eggs, chicken and other local food. Seem that business was quite good as some of the people bought the duckling or the chicks for their children. Luckily Ethan didn't ask for us to buy for him if not we don't know where to take care of this animal at home.

Just walked for a moment, Ethan requested the milk and after having had the milk he still wanted the biscuit. Pose showing his mouth full of biscuit as can be found it in the photo with him holding the travel pack biscuit all around the place.

His mood only turned good after some feeding. Now he was willing to pose some good posture in front of the camera but not many as he kept on walking here and there. Really difficult to get the photo of this active kid.

We walked to the end of the farm and there was a stage for the local people performance. There was the boy and girl rape seed mascot nearby the stage and lots of people requested to take photo with them. Of course we didn't miss the opportunity. Some of the people even borrowed the mascot's head and worn it to take their photos.

Ethan was playing the big balloon with his parents by pulling down the balloon and released it. He had played with it for few times.

No bright sun, cool weather and some more we do not have highend SLDR camera, the photos we have taken didn't bring out the beauty of the farm.
