Windy Century Square (世纪广场)

We wanted to visit this "Century Square " for quite some time now. From the day we first arrived and we have attempted to go few times but we always miss it. Some of the reasons were rainy day, the weather too hot and Ethan slept on the car on the way to the Century Square. Few seasons had passed by and finally today we managed to keep our promise. We have killed some time before Ethan went to his classmate's birthday party.

We asked our driver to drop us nearby the famous icon for the Century Square. The "Clock" and we said it was twin of the "Compass" we had visited few months back.

The sun was facing exactly towards our face so it was difficult for us to take a good photo with our eyes open. Along the square, there was few famous buildings like the "Technology and Science Museum" beside this square. There was one place where it was decorated with tree and flowers. It will change according to season. When we first arrived in Shanghai, the theme was the "Olympic 福娃" and we always mention wanted to take photo with it but we just missed it. Recently theme was regading the "牛 Year". Few golden cows have greeted the new year.

Ethan was the happy boy in the square as he could see people flying the kite. We have been persuaded by few sellers to buy the kite but we have no time to fly the kite. We need to finish visiting this place. Ethan ran through the long square until he reached the Century Park. We rested for a while before we walked back to the place where we asked our driver to pick us up. Overall, it was a very windy day....
