We wish you a Merry Christmas...

Today we went to Walmart to buy some Christmas decorations. Initially we planned to buy a Christmas tree but after seeing Ethan playing with the light, we gave up this idea. We knew that if we have bought the tree and put on the light, definitely Ethan will play with the switch turning it on and off. He even touched the light and turned the light in the supermarket. We were afraid that he will "kena" shock by the electricity. So we just bought the 3 different height of smaller Christmas tree.

We have placed them in the hall and the window. Ethan helped us stick some of the plastic Santa and Reindeer poster on the wall.

Supplement for Ethan

Seeing Ethan always fall sick after he started attending the nursery, Mummy asked daddy to buy the Scott's Emulsion Cod Liver Oil and the Pureen Kids Milk Colostrum Plus the other day when daddy was on business trip back to Malaysia. Today daddy arrived at Shanghai in the early morning and brought them back. Mummy fed Ethan the Cod liver Oil with a small teaspoon as didn't know whether Ethan likes it or not. Luckily he didn't spit it out.

Hope that with these supplement, Ethan will reduce getting sick so easily.

Concentration...

Today mummy was a bit late to pick Ethan up at the school. When mummy arrived, she saw that Ethan was with other kids waiting for mummy. Teacher had given them a book to read. Teacher told mummy that Ethan was ok even mummy was late to pick him up. But the other kid cannot stand it as she already cried while waiting. Teacher was calling and telling Ethan that mummy had arrived to pick him up but Ethan was so concentrated on reading the book. He didn't respond and looked up. His eye still stuck on to the book. After he finished reading the book, he said to himself "The end". He put the book back on the shelf and only then walked towards mummy and waved bye bye to the teacher.

Mummy didn't know that Ethan can be so concentrated and insist to finish reading the book then only respond to people. This was the first time mummy noticed this.

Mummy had been locked twice. By who? Ethan lo. The boy always like to play with the door lock when mummy goes out to put or take out the clothes from washing machine.

It happened tonight again as mummy wanted to take out the clothes from the washing machine. Mummy always have a bad feeling when seeing Ethan walked nearby. Yes, mummy's instinct was right again. He locked the door again. Luckily after mummy knocked the door he immediately turned back the lock. If not mummy will be freezing and helpless outside in the cold and dark environment as daddy was having a business trip. Even scream louder also don't know whether can reach the upstairs and downstairs neighbors or not as under the cold weather everybody closed up the window.

Thinking back to the first time when Ethan locked out his mother was when we just arrived and that time was daytime where weather was also cold. Still it was spring time. That time, Ethan was freaked out and cried when he locked up mummy as mummy kept on knocking the door and asked him to turn the lock. He didn't know how to turn the lock and cried inside the house. Finally he managed to turn it back. Where was daddy at that time? In the office. If that time Ethan cannot open the lock then mummy needed to wait until daddy came back after work then only can be rescued.

Another donations

The school got another round of donation. This time it was asking the parents to buy the school desk calender for RMB25. The money will be donated to the Sichuan Earthquake Fund.

Arrival of the Christmas exchange gift

Mummy had ordered the books for Ethan's class Christmas party exchange gift. Finally, the books arrived today. Viewed through the content inside the books, not bad and mummy felt like maybe Ethan will like it. The books are big and the picture are so colorful. If he likes it then mummy has to order another set for him.

Donations for Gift Tree

Today Ethan's class had the "Giving Tree Donations" at 9.00am. Since it was not a schooling day for Ethan, mummy had to bring him to the school to join other kids for the donation. We arrived at school at 8.50am only to see that there was no box in front of the classroom (mummy thought that the donation box was in front of the classroom) and the time was still early so mummy brought Ethan to the library to return the books. Mummy had chosen one book and another one was chosen by Ethan.

Bring the gift from home

Mummy was surprised when mummy opened the classroom seeing lots of parent were already inside the classroom. All the kids need to line up holding the ring rope. Without wasting time, Ethan immediately held the ring and waited for other kids to hold too. The kids followed the teacher's direction toward the Christmas Tree behind one of the building.

After the donation, the teacher counted the kids and brought them back to classroom then mummy had to tell the teacher that mummy needed to bring Ethan home as today was not the school day for him. At first Ethan still wanted to follow the kids back to the classroom but mummy had to stop him and asked him to wave bye bye to his friends.
