Early morning we had to carry Ethan while he was still in deep sleep as the Immigration's Office open at 8.00am. We arrived at Sungai Petani around 8.30am. Luckily not many people applied for the international passport. A lot of border pass applicant though - going to Thailand. We spent less than 30 min to complete all the process and what surprised us was we can take the passport 2 hours later. Initially daddy planed to collect it on Monday. I guess we do not have to do that - lucky! Of course, we didn't hang around in SP for 2 hours as Ethan hadn't took his morning bath yet. Furthermore we also need some rest.
After Ethan had taken his afternoon nap and lunch we headed toward the immigration office once again. This time there was a bit full of people inside the office. We were saying that luckily we took the morning session instead of afternoon one. We have to take number and waited for the call to collect the passport. Ethan was restless and wanted to walk around. As usual he was very friendly to people around him. He kept on smiling to the auntie and uncle. He even walked towards and called a baby girl laying inside the stroller "baby! baby!" repeatedly. He also touched the baby.
Finally it was our turn. Ethan refused to put his thumb print inside the passport last page. We tried to lure him and after struggling for a while, at last we managed to hold his thumb to stamp on the passport. The officer was asking whether is it that this morning Ethan also refuse to put his thumb print. Well, it was simply the reverse, that time he was very corporative and curious about it. It was easy in the morning.
Mission accomplished! Now Ethan has the license to travel around the world with his parents, except for Israel of course. Israel is the only country that Malaysian are not allowed to enter.

Great grandma visit
Today we brought Ethan to visit his great grandma again because we want to give "ang pau". When Ethan entered the house the first things he looked for was the baby. Unfortunately the baby had gone back his own house. We were amazed by Ethan's good memory as we only visited last two week ago before the CNY. Ethan was busying eating the potato chip at great grandma's place.

Passport Photo session
Today, we brought Ethan to take a photo for his passport. We are planning to bring him back to Sungai Petani this Sunday to make the passport. According to Grandpa, passport office in Sungai Petani does not have many people.
Daddy reached home early this evening and drove Ethan and mummy to Sunshine Square. Ethan wore his red striped round neck T-shirt. Unfortunately the lady at the photo studio said that International Passport requires dress with a collar and plain dark color. Due to this, we have to buy Ethan a new clothes. How fortunate Ethan to get new clothes with collar. Most of the clothes mummy bought up to now do not have any collar.
Comes to the photo session, Ethan became restless and did not sit still for the photo shot. The lady at the shop had to take 3 shots before final shot was ok. First shot was taken with mummy's hand. Second shot took with Ethan's mouth opening and head tilted to one side. Very very difficult to catch the best shot for Ethan.
Photo below is the third attempt. Here in this photo Ethan closed his mouth.
Final product is shown as below. Good to go to the passport application form. 2 photos are required and RM150.

Discovered - bug
Look ! Have a look! Ethan had shown interest in seeing the bug.
After looking and studying for a while. His itchy hands and legs started to touch and step on the bug. Mummy had to stop his violent action by sweeping out the bug from his reach. Poor little Ethan he can only stare at the bug from inside the gate. Until now mummy still doesn't know what was the name of the bug? Might be some kind of beetle.

Dangerous! Very Closed
In order to make sure that Ethan sit still inside his highchair while we were busy washing the plates, we give him an ice cream to eat.
This is the type of ice-cream that comes in a paper cup and a wooden scoop. At first he was eating happily alone, scooping up the ice-cream with the wooden scoop. Then suddenly, we heard him grumbling. Daddy turned his head and saw Ethan biting on the wooden scoop. Quickly daddy noticed that part of the scoop had been torn. Seems like Ethan had bitten off part of the wooden scoop. Daddy panicked and swiftly dig out the wooden debris from Ethan's mouth.
After digging out quite a bit of the wood, daddy still noticed that Ethan was munching on something in his mouth. Daddy forced Ethan to open his mouth widen and saw 2 more wooden debris in his mouth. Mummy quickly dig his mouth to get the wood out. Ethan was crying and resisting. We are sweating and worried that he would swallow the wood. After trying a while, we managed to get 1 of the debris out.
The other one is nowhere to be found. Luckily it was quite a small piece and not sharp. I think he might have swallowed it during his struggle to break free from our attempt to open his mouth.
Mummy said to observe for the next half day whether Ethan coughs or not. Since he did not show any abnormal signs, we were relieved.

ME! ME!
Every time when Ethan is in our study room, normally the things he do is to use crayon to scribble on paper and sometimes beyond the paper. Today you know what he did to mummy?
When he saw mummy using a pen to write something in the small diary books, he immediately grasped the book and the pen. Ya. mummy was busying searching for something in the internet so in order for Ethan not to disturb, mummy had to let Ethan have it. While mummy was searching the web, suddenly Ethan used the pen to draw something on mother's leg. Mummy instantly said mummy was angry and put up an angry face. He behaved himself and lower his head. When mummy turned her head toward the notebook once again. Oh! You know what this cheeky boy did? He immediately drawn another line on mummy leg's and then quickly picked up all the stuffs and ran away. Mummy quickly caught this naughty boy and shown him the lines on mummy's leg and asked him: " Who did that?" He used his hand to put to his chest and said, " ME! ME!"

Coloring used Dragon fruit juice???
Today after feeding Ethan the dragon fruits there were some red juice left inside the plate. Mummy used her finger to stir up some of the juice and draw a line inside the dairy. Well, Ethan immediately imitated the action. He was so happy using his finger to color the diary. Em! Is time to let him try using water color. Mummy had bought water color for quite some time but does not dare to let Ethan try it. Maybe wait until the weekend when daddy is at home then we will have some fun time painting with Ethan.
