We took some photos in front of the main entrance. Ethan was sitting on the stone staircase waiting for his daddy to take some photos of the surrounding before entering the attraction.
Even though there were lot of trees and plants inside but the weather was so hot. Just for a while, Ethan started to sweat. He opt to wear the hat whenever he walked to the side that there were no trees to cover him.
We entered "The Flower Carve Hall". Ethan was usual walked here and there. He still cannot understand what are the things displayed inside the hall.
After the hall, we continued to walked further inside. There is a pond full of waterlily. Full blossom of waterlily had made the pond look very attractive. Lots of people sitting inside the pavilion surrounding the pond admiring the waterlily. We also didn't let go of this opportunity to take photos with the waterlily. Guessed summer is the season of waterlily blossom as we came across a few parks that have the Waterlily festival.
A few of stone bridges nearby the waterlily pond. As usual Ethan wanted to walk up and down the bridge by himself. Found out that the bridge in here has step by step stairs that walked up and down the bridge.
Ethan eagerly wanted to cross the rock tunnel. He had attempted a few times to walk inside but he failed because it was so dark inside. He had to wait for his daddy who was busy taking of photos while mummy was looking after him.
Finally Ethan had the chance to cross the rock tunnel. On the other side, there was another view of the garden. Of course we didn't miss the chance of taking more photos.
Walked further there was another building where there was an exhibition of Chinese paintings. Right in the middle of the courtyard, there was a statue of Dong Qi Chang. Well, the exhibition painting was not that of Dong Qi Chang. Someone else held an exhibition here.
This building is called Plum Blossom Hall 雪海堂. It is a kind of museum which display some photos of Sun Yat Sen. What attracted Ethan was the fountain pond outside the building.
After visiting the place, we took a short break inside while enjoying the scenery of the park. Ethan enjoyed the drink he called "Lo Kat" instead of Wong Lo Kat.
More information about this Zui Bai Pond can be found in Ethan's parent's travel blog:
